The momoGood Virtuous integration helps nonprofit teams connect their donor database to momoGood Messaging so they can run segmented SMS and MMS campaigns without manual list exports. New gifts in Virtuous show up in momoGood as donation records, and when a donor texts STOP, their opt-in status updates back inside Virtuous on the donor's mobile phone record.

How the integration works
The Virtuous integration runs three coordinated flows. A daily donor refresh pulls opted-in Virtuous donors — Contact Individuals with the Opted In flag set on a mobile phone contact method — into a momoGood Messaging list, only moving donors who changed since the last update.
A gift flow watches for new gifts in Virtuous and sends each gift to momoGood within seconds, with a stable identifier so the same gift never gets counted twice. An opt-out flow watches for STOP events in momoGood and updates the matching Virtuous mobile phone record so the Opted In flag is cleared.
The first daily refresh after setup is a starting point — it marks the moment the integration was turned on, so later updates only move data that changed afterward. There is no historical backfill.

Which donors get synced?
Only Contact Individuals who have a mobile phone contact method with Virtuous's built-in Opted In flag set. Donors without a mobile phone contact method, or whose mobile phone is not marked Opted In, are excluded.
Can the integration be customized?
Yes. Which fields are shared can be set per customer through a guided wizard that surfaces Contact, Contact Individual, and Custom Field options. Setup is self-service and may vary by customer setup.
