The Salesforce integration for Events & Auctions is configured for each team. Which Salesforce campaign each Givergy campaign maps to, how transactions are categorised (donation, ticket, auction, raffle), how booking and payment fees are recorded, and how marketing consent and Gift Aid (for UK organisations) are handled are all tailored to your Salesforce setup. Talk with the momoGood team during onboarding to scope the right configuration for your event workflow.

Overview

The momoGood Salesforce integration helps nonprofit teams keep fundraising, engagement, and supporter information aligned between Salesforce and momoGood.

Contacts, Leads, or Accounts in Salesforce move into momoGood Messaging on a schedule your team chooses, and opt-outs captured in momoGood are reflected back in Salesforce so fundraising, marketing, and operations all see the same supporter status.

The integration works with Sales Cloud, Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), and Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC). The exact setup, field matching, and report design will depend on how your team uses Salesforce.

Overview

The momoGood Events & Auctions integration with Salesforce helps event, auction, and advancement teams capture every gala guest, bidder, ticket buyer, and raffle entry as a Salesforce contact and gift record — without the manual data-entry rush the week after the event.

As guests register, bid, buy items, and donate through momoGood Events & Auctions, their information and transactions flow into Salesforce on a schedule your team controls. The integration matches guests to existing contacts using first name, last name, and email, creates new contacts when no match exists, and records each transaction against the right donor record. Auction wins, buy-now purchases, raffle entries, ticket sales, and direct donations are all captured.

The Salesforce integration supports both Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC), with the same event-day workflow in either environment. UK organisations can also capture Gift Aid consent and eligible-amount tracking on each donation.

Notable capabilities

Confirmed or carefully qualified capabilities for this integration. Specific behavior may vary by customer setup.

  • Maps each momoGood event to a Salesforce campaign and adds attendees as campaign members

How the integration works

The integration uses a Salesforce report as the source of truth for which supporters should be in momoGood. On a schedule your team chooses, the report runs and the supporters move into a momoGood Messaging list. When someone opts out in momoGood, that status is sent back to Salesforce so supporter records stay aligned in both places.

Setup is self-serve, and your team chooses how Salesforce fields line up with momoGood. You can set up multiple connections for different reports, lists, or campaigns.

How often supporters move over, which records are included, and how your fields line up will depend on your Salesforce setup.

How the integration works

Guest activity from momoGood Events & Auctions flows into Salesforce on the schedule your team chooses. As each guest registers, bids, buys, or donates through Givergy, the integration looks for a matching contact in Salesforce using first name, last name, and email. If a match is found, the existing record is updated. If not, a new contact (NPSP) or Person Account (NPC) is created with their email, phone, and address.

Each financial transaction — auction bid, ticket purchase, raffle entry, donation, or prize-draw entry — is recorded as an opportunity (NPSP) or gift transaction (NPC) on that contact, tied to the matching Salesforce campaign. Booking and payment fees are recorded as separate product line items so finance teams can reconcile cleanly. Marketing consent the guest gave at registration is captured across email, phone, SMS, and post.

UK organisations can also capture Gift Aid consent on each donation — the integration records the consent flag, the eligible amount, and the donor's address so your Gift Aid claim can run alongside your existing workflow.

This integration supports the standard NPSP and NPC data models. Organisations that rely heavily on custom Salesforce objects are scoped during onboarding to confirm fit.

Salesforce data & security considerations

Only the fields your team picks in the source Salesforce report move between the two systems. The connection uses Salesforce's standard sign-in. What information moves, what gets kept, and how it's matched all follow your team's configuration.

FAQs

Good to know

What does the Salesforce integration do for Events & Auctions?

It moves every event guest, auction bid, ticket purchase, raffle entry, and donation from momoGood Events & Auctions into Salesforce automatically, with the right campaign, fee handling, and consent tracking applied to each record.

Which momoGood products does it work with?

The Salesforce integration is available with momoGood Events & Auctions. Specific feature support and field mappings may vary by customer setup.

Does it work with NPSP and Nonprofit Cloud?

Yes. The integration supports both Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) data models. The event-day workflow is the same in either environment; the underlying Salesforce objects differ (contacts and opportunities in NPSP, Person Accounts and gift transactions in NPC).

How are guests matched to existing contacts?

The integration matches guests on first name, last name, and email. If a matching contact or Person Account is found, it is updated. If not, a new record is created.

How are booking and payment fees handled?

Fees are recorded as separate product line items on each gift — payment fee and booking fee — so finance and gift-entry teams can reconcile cleanly inside Salesforce.

Can we run campaign-level reporting in Salesforce?

Does it support Gift Aid?

Yes, for UK organisations. The integration captures Gift Aid consent, eligible amount, and donor address on each donation so the data is in Salesforce alongside the gift record.

Is setup self-service?
