After decades covering breaking news, award-winning television journalist George Franco swapped the anchor desk for the auction stage in 2020. Now known as the Good News Auctioneer, he leads a fundraising practice that has helped schools, nonprofits, and foundations across the country break fundraising records.

George is among the group of Benefit Auctioneer Specialists, a designation held by fewer than 3% of auctioneers nationwide, reflecting best practices and continuing education through the National Auctioneers Association.
