About Taking Bids Fundraising
Taking Bids Fundraising, based in Kansas City, leads the industry with record-breaking methods for raising money for nonprofits, and is dedicated to making the community a better place one auction at a time.
Education is a priority for owner and head auctioneer Trisha Brauer. She holds a bachelor's degree and an MBA and completed her auction training at the World Wide College of Auctioneering. She has served as a board member for the National Auctioneers Association and for the state associations of Kansas and Iowa.
Trisha holds the Benefit Auctioneer Specialist designation, earned by only 3% of the nation's auctioneers, and has completed the Certified Auctioneer Institute program, a three-year course that is the highest designation the NAA recognizes. Beyond client events, she is a professional trainer for the NAA, teaching auctioneers across the country the art of benefit auctions.
