Red Apple Auctions

Sherry Truhlar, CAI, BAS, is president of Red Apple Auctions, a boutique auction firm working with nonprofits and schools to improve the profitability of their fundraising galas through strategic planning and engaging auctioneering. Sherry left a corporate marketing career to become a cheeky auctioneer onstage and a trusted resource offstage for development directors.

Her work has taken her to nearly every state and placed her alongside A-list celebrities, but most days she collaborates with clients remotely, helping them plan their events. She has spoken at many AFP conferences, co-written a book for small nonprofits, and been covered in dozens of newspapers and magazines. She is based in the Washington, DC area.
